Our coffees are 100% Arabica and are locally roasted at Hobknobb Roasting Company in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to provide you with the freshest cup in southern Indiana.

A bold blend of  beans roasted especially for

 Magdalena’s Restaurant and Magdalena’s Café on the Square

 

Decaf Guatemalan

A decaf roast with a medium high body, high acidity, sweet, floral tones

 

Daily Grind

Columbian – Full body, smooth well-balanced acidity

Costa Rican – Good acidity, apricot peach-like to chocolate

Kenyan – Plush body, overtone black currant, fruit or berry, aromatic – one of the world’s

finest coffees

Sumatra – Extra bold, full body, slightly exotic earth taste

Breakfast Blend – Blended for that first cup of the morning, full body with subtle floral taste

Java -   mild, smooth flavor with undertones of cocoa

Mokah Java – combination of Sumatra and java beans, produces a boulder flavor than java,

but with the same cocoa undertones, comes from the port of Al-Mokah in the Red Sea

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe – medium roast with a tang, pungent liveliness; pronounced floral aroma

Magdalena’s Café on the Square sells fresh coffee beans by the pound in our Special Blend, Breakfast Blend, Columbian, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Costa Rican, Sumatra, Kenyan, Java & Mokah Java, Decaf Guatemalan.

We serve wonderful espresso and specialty drinks at the Café, but often customers aren’t quite sure what it is they want.  We’re here to help you.  Just ask for some help and we’ll guide you in the right direction to satisfy your cravings.  Below are descriptions of some of the drinks we offer, but remember we can make you anything as long as we have the ingredients for what you want.

Latte

espresso, velvety steamed milk, dab of foam

Order a mocha latte, caramel latte or white chocolate mocha latte

espresso, hot water

espresso, dollop foam (strong drink in demitasse cup)

Caramel Macchiato

Half brewed coffee, half steamed milk

Black tea and spices in velvety steamed milk
